Merchandising Your Real Estate Listings

Merchandising Your Real Estate Listings is a course designed specifically to assist Real Estate Professionals with basic staging techniques so their listings will show better and be more competitive. Taking the class will also enhance participant’s ability to successfully relate the benefits of preparing a home for sale to their listing clients and to assist and advise them as to the best practices (which may include when to hire a professional stager!).

Interior Merchandising, commonly known as Home Staging, is the art of preparing a home to sell. Thanks to the Internet and the economy, the Real Estate Industry and the way people buy homes are changing forever. Like it or not, Home Staging is here to stay.
ERA and Long and Foster Realtors, two very prestigious Real Estate companies are now forming partnerships with Home Stagers. Join the class, be informed and find out what you can do to stay ahead of the curve.

You don’t have to go anywhere. I bring the classes to you, via teleseminar, it doesn’t matter where you live. You only need a phone and a computer to participate. They are live, conference calls and limited to 12 attendees each session. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and to submit your own listing photos prior to class and have the opportunity to brain storm successful strategies for transforming them into more marketable commodities.

"But I already stage my own listings...."
A common misconception is that Home Staging consists of simply de-cluttering, de-personalizing, cleaning and maintenance which all seems pretty intuitive. Many people don’t believe they need to hire someone to explain those processes. I agree, many Real Estate professionals are already adept at advising on these issues. What is not so straightforward is implementing the design principles involved in good staging and utilizing the psychology behind designing to sell. This is where professional staging becomes more complex. In fact, contrary to what many people think, the best “staged” homes are not bland and boring or de-personalized, they are inspiring and they incite buyers to fall in love. They are “staged” so buyers can visualize themselves living in the home. The real business of Interior Merchandising, “selling Lifestyle”, begins when the cleaning, de-cluttering, and de-personalizing is completed.

"What do I get if join the course?"
